2010 RENAULT MEGANE COUPE GT
2010 Renault Megane GT Coupe is one of the best little ride. Comes with a nice set of chunky 18-inch grey alloys, GT badges dotted about, grey mirror caps and a low stance. The sporty aesthetic works well on the three-door coupe.
GT cars are powered by either the 158bhp dCi 2.0-litre diesel engine, or a 178bhp TCe 2.0-litre petrol unit
The TCe petrol GT is very close to hot hatch territory in the power stakes, and deep in the heart of it dynamically. The 178bhp four-cylinder turbo motor dishes up a 7.8-second sprint to 62mph, but the GT feels faster than that. It’s a lot to do with the responsiveness from low revs, and the hard-edged, metallic crescendo at high ones.
2010 HYUNDAI BLUE-WILL PLUG-IN HYBRID CONCEPT
The Blue-Will is code-named HND-4 and is the fourth concept vehicle from Hyundai’s Namyang Design Center.
Like the Toyota Prius, perhaps the best-known hybrid car, the Blue-Will has an engine that’s directly connected to the drive wheels and that runs in parallel with the electric motor. The car can run solely on its lithium polymer battery for a range of 20 to 40 miles. The lithium polymer battery in the system, built by another Korean company, LG Chem.
