ISUZU MALAYSIA INTRODUCED FACELIFTED D-MAX
Isuzu Malaysia has introduced the facelifted D-Max, and the terrific truck now not only looks sharper than before, it has more on the item list too.
Leading the cosmetic change is a revised grille design, which provides the truck with a meatier face – the chrome grille’s twin horizontal slats provide generous cooling performance while providing ample protection against the elements.
Next, the D-Max gets new-design 16-inch six-spoke alloys, which dress up the big lad quite well. Throw in two new colour choices, namely Inferno Red Mica and Galaxy Gray Metallic, and it’s pretty much a party.
Other improvements abound, including a newly-designed sidestep that provides better grip during ingress and egress, as well as a new-design high-mounted third LED brake light. Additionally, the 3.0l version of the type now comes with dual SRS airbags as standard.
To add to the improvements, which are found across the board on both the 2.5l and 3.0l variants, Isuzu Malaysia has also introduced the D-Max Plus version, a high-spec model with stylish imported leather seats and an integrated in-car entertainment centre featuring a 2-DIN GPS navigation system / DVD player. This one is aimed at satisfying the demands of the premium buyer, naturally.
Prices, yes. The new-look D-Max is priced from RM71,539 for the D-Max 2.5 4×2 manual right up to RM95,538 for the 3.0 4×4 auto (on-the-road, without insurance, Peninsular Malaysia). For more info on the revitalised D-Max, log on to www.isuzu.net.my or call 1-300-88-1133.
