After the Proton Exora had been launched recently, Perodua wouldn’t want to be left behind. In fact Perodua was hot on Proton’s tail with their own MPV of themself. Some of you may notice our previous posting on TOYOTA PASSO SETTE which is rumoured to be the base model of the upcoming Perodua MPV.Recently the rumours had slowly become a reality.Disguised mystery MPV which is suspected to be the upcoming Perodua MPV had been found on the road. And recently at the MSAM, Perodua had unveiled the interior of the car.
The Base Model Of The Upcoming Perodua MPV D46T
One of our reader, kej@m had sent us few photos of the upcoming Perodua MPV.A thousand thanks to him for sharing these picture with us. And it seems that the Perodua MPV is going to be released later on November and the current Perodua MPV project is called Perodua D46T.
The dashboard of the Perodua is simillar to the Toyota Passo Sette with minor difference. First of all is the Air- condition panel where it has been changed from an Automatic Climate control with LCD to a Manual 3 knob settings. And following Proton, the steering features some integrated Radio control.
The gated gear shifter is found simillarly in the Passo. And the radio unit has been changed by Perodua which only features Cd Player, Bluetooth Connectivity and maybe USB slot rather than a full navigational unit found in the Toyota Passo.
The same console from different angle
From this angle we can see the legroom for the front passenger which looks spacious enough for most Malaysian people.A two tone black and beige colour had been choosen by Perodua for the Model and complementing the overall look is the blue coloured gauge and radio unit which made it look elegant.
It seems that the material of choice for the seats is a beige colour leather and the door trim shares the colour scheme of the dashboard.A hand rest is snuggly fitted between the driver seat to ensure the driver and the passenger to get proper rest during long journey trip.
The overview of the Perodua MPV interior which should fit 7 passenger in comfort.
The rear second row seats should fit 3 adult passenger in comfort and two children for the last row or maybe even two adult.
