The Honda CR-X replacement, the Honda CR-Z hybrid coupe official brochure had been found on the net revealing almost all the details of the sport coupe. The scanned photos shows the interios and exterior photos of the car including its specification.
From the brochure, the CR-Z will be equipped with a 1.5 liter i-Vtec petrol engine coupled to an electric motor. All the powers are transmitted to the front wheel via a six speed manual transmission.
The petrol engine delivers an output of 114ps (84kW or 113 HP) at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 145Nm (107 lb-ft) at 4,800 rpm, while the electric motor, 14ps (10kW or 13.4 HP) at 1,500 rpm and 78Nm (58 lb-ft) at 1,000 rpm.
A sprint from 0-100 km/h takes 9.7 seconds which is not very impressive for a sport coupe.Fuel consumption of the car would be either 25.0 km/liter or 22.5 km/liter of which we are not very sure since it is in japanese.
The new Honda CR-Z will hit the Japanese market on February 2010 and followed by Europe and and North America shortly after.
