BABY GODZILLA V-SPEC SPOTTED AT NURBURGRING
Nissan GTR is fast enough?Think again. Currently Nissan is in the process of releasing their new NISSAN GTR V-SPEC.The new prototype had been spotted several time lapping at the world famous NURBURGRING circuit in Germany.
The new Nissan Gtr V-Spec engine will be boosted up to 520 bhp,40 more than its base model which produces 480bhp.It is also said to weigh 300lbs less than the standard Nissan GTR.The weight had been shaved off by replacing several bodypart such as the bonnet with a carbon fibre one.
Other changes include an upgraded exhaust system and a massive carbon ceramic brake to hold back the 520bhp produced by the 3.8liter v6 twin turbo.The interior is also said had been stripped to reduce the weight even more, but the on board computer/sat-nav is still in place with few additional functions.
The aerodynamics of the car is also altered by the use of different style rear wing,and up front, a small aerodynamic splitter with twin air intakes has been added to the front airdam.
The Nissan GTR V-Spec is expected to be released in 2009 as a 2010 model.And expect a much higher price than the base Nissan GTR.
