MERCEDES BENZ PLANS TO OFFER HYBRID ON C-CLASS LINEUP
The next-generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class lineup will offer hybrid technology. Mercedes-Benz is working hard to lower its CO2 emissions and plans on offering hybrid technology and the goal is drop the Mercedes-Benz C-Class lineup’s fuel consumption down to supermini levels
The most frugal C-Class will be a diesel engined model that is targeting average emissions of 100g/km, while most gasoline version will come in between 110g/km and 120g/km.
It’s still in the prototype which was doing the testing by Mercedes-Benz, but there is still some debate whether the automaker will offer 3-cylinder engines. Also possible are 4-cylinder models equipped with cylinder deactivation technology, while will allow the engine to occasionally run on just two cylinders.
2011 OPEL MERIVA COLOUR EDITION
Opel is enhancing the Meriva small MPV’s range with the presentation of a new special edition model. The Meriva Color Edition is all about contrasting colors. The small MPV model is offered in a choice of five hues for the body Casablanca White, Magma Red, Carbon Grey, Silver Star and Henna.
All of which come with a contrasting high gloss black painted roof, dark tinted headlamps with curve and cornering light and 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels.
The Opel Meriva Color Edition also comes with standard features include includes air conditioning, CD radio, trip computer, leather steering wheel, electric front windows, power mirrors, cruise control, tinted rear windows and Opel’s Flex Rail-center console.
