DODGE RAM 1500 BACK TO DEALERS
A total of 56,611 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup trucks are headed back to dealers over concerns that a bearing in the rear axle may fail. While the problem may present itself in the form of a growl or grinding noise, if left unchecked, the axle may seize up, potentially causing a crash.
The vehicles in question were manufactured between September 2009 and December 2010. The cars recalls are expected to begin in February and Chrysler will repair the axles in Ram 1500 models and replace the both front door wiring harnesses in Dodge Journey models free of charge as necessary.
