The Covini C6W (short for Covini six Wheeler) is an Italian two-seat, two-door supercar with a removable roof section.The car was built by Covini Engineering and it is a project appointed in the direction of new research into active and passive safety.
THE SIX WHEEL SUPERCAR
The car was initially presented during the Geneva Motor Show back in 2004 and they had promise to put in production but nothing has been seen or heard of the Covini C6W.But now, the Covini C6W is said to be heading into the production line in 2009. The Covini C6W will be powered by the 4.2L V8 engine by AUDI and it is expected to produce 380hp (260kW) and 331lb-ft (450Nm). The power is then should be transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6 speed manual gearbox.
With 4 wheels at the front, the C6W will have more grip and better stability.The extra two wheels will accommodate an extra pair of brake which will enhance the braking of the car.
The four front wheels measure 15in, while the rear pair measure in at 20in. And the car is estimated to weigh at a mere 1150kg. With all the combination, the Covini C6W will be able to reach the 300kmh mark without any difficulty at all
