Standing just 39 inches tall and 26 inches wide, the little red Postman Pat car is apparently well-known in Europe as a children’s toy. Oddly enough, it’s now known all over the globe as the World’s Smallest Street-Legal Car / Kereta paling kecil di jalan raya .
The ridiculously small vehicle owes its newfound fame to a 47 year-old man in the U.K. named Perry Watkins, who gutted the plaything, added a steel frame to the fiberglass shell and propped it all up with the chassis from a quad.

Powered by a 150cc single-cylinder four-stroke engine hooked to the rear wheels, Watkins’ machine, the smallest car in the world, won’t be keeping up with traffic on the motorway, but its working headlamps, taillights, windshield wipers, horn and turn signals have enabled it to become fully street legal in Britain. The small-displacement engine reportedly returns 70 miles per gallon or 24.78 km/litre of fuel consumption and manages to push the diminutive flame-painted flyer to what is likely a white-knuckle top speed of 40 mph which is 64km/hour.

in m’sia this wouldn’t be allowd for street legal due to extreme small size. dangerous to use on the road. It can’t withstand the wind from the larger vehicle that overtake at high speed.
Agreed it is the world’s smallest car. I think it will take him easily 5 minutes to sit comfy or to get out from this car. And he cannot even get the girls, can’t he? Yes, the is a possibilty..sit on the car’s roof!
The best thing is his daily ride was a Jaguar!
