The Nissan R35 GTR is one of the hotest Japanese car in the market. With its supercar performance and its relatively low price, it can be considered affordable for a lot of people. But some owner even mod their R35 GTR. For those Carbon Fiber fetish, behold what you might see.
A California based tuner, Password:JDM had created a set of wide front fender for the baby godzilla. The main reason for it is not for weight saving, but it is actually built to enable the GTR to be fitted with wider tyre up in front to eliminate understeer, especially in those cars with performance upgrades. With the dry carbon fiber fender installed, the width of the car will be increased by a full 38mm or 1.5 inches which made it possible to fit wider tyre.
Password:JDM says that the wider fenders that feature deeper air-outlets are designed to accommodate a 20×11 wheel shod in 315/30/20 Toyo R888 rubber which are the widest tires available for the rear-axle of the factory model.
If you’re thinking of getting a pair, be ready to spend $3899.99 (RM13,050).
Jom komen!
