VOLKSWAGEN INTRODUCES THE GOLF ESTATE
VW has unveiled its latest Golf Estate, and design elements in the new vehicle draw on the design language established by the Scirocco, new Golf and fifth generation Polo.
The new shape features redesigned headlamps and front and rear bumpers, new wheels as well as revised rear lights to lend the car a fresh new look. The changes continue inside the vehicle, with dashboard improvements adopted from the Golf Mk VI, upgraded trim materials and a new range of upholstery.
Standard specification includes a CD player, multi-function computer, electric windows and mirrors as well as body-coloured bumpers, mirrors and door handles, while safety features include ABS, ESP, driver and front passenger’s whiplash-optimised head restraints and six airbags
Petrol engines in the range will include a 1.4l TSI model, while for diesel there is a new 1.6l TDI common rail unit, and a 2.0l TDI tops the engine range. A BlueMotion version of the Golf Estate will also be offered.
