Isuzu Malaysia has added another variant to its line-up of locally-assembled pick-up trucks. On sale beginning 1 October 2010, the new Isuzu D-Max 2.5-litre 4×4 will be priced between RM82,155.40 and RM88,737.40.Below are the OTR prices inclusive of insurance for individual private registration in Peninsula.

The new 4×4 variant has a 2.5-litre Super Commonrail turbodiesel engine (4JK1-TC) which produces 114hp @ 3,600rpm and 280Nm @ 1,800 – 2,200rpm. The 5-speed manual transmission paired to the engine is all new and works in tandem with Isuzu’s Touch-On-The-Fly 4WD system function at speeds up to 100km/h.
The D-Max 2.5-litre 4×4 comes additionally with projector headlights, fog lamps, indicators integrated into the wing mirrors, dual airbags, as well as ABS with EBD. Also in the list is a 2-DIN audio unit with MP3 and WMA compatibility, Isuzu’s e-Lumax instrument panel with a multi-info display, aero-type side steps and a leather-wrapped gear knob. Both trim levels also benefit from a limited-slip differential and an anti-theft alarm system with key-coded immobilizer.
Early buyers also get to enjoy a “Smart Saver” package where customers who purchase a double-cab D-Max will be entitled to a free Garmin GPS and a cash rebate. The offer is subject to terms and conditions, lasting only till 30 November 2010.
