There is just too much two door supercar in the world. Why dont we build a 4 door supercar.Behold, the world’s first four-door, coupe convertible supercar. the 4 door supercar is named Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS and it is a concept that made its world debut at the Top Marques Monaco Show in April.
The Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS is based on the Chevrolet Corvette. It is fitted with a supercharged LS7 V8 engine that’s good enough for 670HP at 6,200 rpm and 538 lb-ft of torque at 4,800 rpm launching the four door hardtop cabrio from zero to 100km/h (62mph) in just 3.4 seconds. The engine drives the rear wheel through a GM-sourced automatic gearbox. And the theoritical top speed of this combination is 330km/h or 205mph.
The 4 door cabrio features a Lamborghini style front and rear-hinged doors but this is quite common to many supercar. What actually makes this car standout from the rest is its retractable hardtop, which according to the company, folds up (or down) in approximately 20 seconds. Too bad we don’t have any photos of the car with the roof closed.
And then there’s the interior that can seat four passengers. Not sure why, but the company claims in its press release that the cabin’s design is inspired from the world of yachts – hence the name ‘Roadyacht’. Strange indeed.
V8 +supercharged+670Hp, 0-100km/h 3.4s….Nissan GTR is better…3.2s
