The Ferrari F430 is on its way out, making way for its replacement tipped to debut at the Frankfurt show. Ferrari itself is saying goodbye with a special edition to be auctioned off for charity, but a pair of German firms has collaborated to send off the F430 in its own unique brand of style.
Unique Sportscars and Novitec Rosso have teamed up to create a limited production run of 11 specially designed Ferrari F430s
The Ferrari F430 Calavera does receive some very impressive upgrades including a 707 horsepower twin supercharged engine, which outdoes Novitec’s previous offering by 51 hp and is good for a 0 to 60 mph sprint of 3.5 seconds. Top speed is listed at 216 mph.
To cope with those high speeds, Novitec Rosso sport suspension are fitted. The front can be raised by 40 millimeters at the push of a button to pass driveway entries and speed bumps. Once the car reaches a speed of 80 km/h the suspension automatically lowers itself back to normal position, about 35 millimeters lower than the production car.
The aerodynamics package of the Unique Sportscars Ferrari F430 Calavera has been developed by Novitec Rosso in the wind tunnel and includes a new front spoiler, wings sills, rear diffuser and an optional rear wing.
