The Porsche tuner from Gemballa have unveiled their latest project the Gemballa Tornado 750 GTS. Extensive mods and upgrades had been done to the Porsche Cayenne Turbo. The car itself looks as if it is going to be featured in the Death Race. As fierce as it looks, same goes to the engine which has been thoroughly upgraded.
The extensive engine mods include the increase of the V8 s displacement from 4.8- to 5.0-liters and the fitment of fortified forged pistons, special connecting rods, racing turbochargers along with a new air intercooler plus a remapping of the ECU. The result is an impressive output of 750HP at 6,400 rpm and a maximum torque of 1,050Nm or 774-lbs/ft at 3200 rpm. The Tornado 750 GTS accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 4.3 seconds and has a top speed in excess of 300 km/h or 187mph.
To make use of all the power, Gemballa’s engineers installed a sports suspension that includes an adjustable coilover kit which allow the car to be lowered up to 70mm. The wheel in use is a set set of extra light 22-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 335/25 Z22 high performance tires. To allow the car to stop on time, inside the wheel houses a new braking system with 6-piston brake callipers and 420mm discs at the front axle and 4-piston brake callipers with 380mm discs at the rear axle.
In addition to the improvements in performance with all the extras under the hood, Gemballa also has a keen eye for exterior and interior styling. Usually car tuning companies increase the vehicles weight by adding parts to their cars, however for this Porsche Cayenne Turbo they were able to reduce the weight by 250 kg simply by replacing the heavy body parts with new carbon fiber pieces. A wider and improved body kit was added along with an aerodynamic lip on the front to generate more downward force at the front of the vehicle. New side skirts and body extensions were added along with a new rear end that comes with a spoiler, extended rear lip, sharp double tail lights, and a racing diffuser complete the aggressive yet luxurious look.
Inside, Gemballa opted for a four-seat layout while the cabin has been upgraded with new materials and a redesigned center console hosting the lifted gearbox and the Data Control System.
