Malaysian government had introduce the RON95 fuel recently and all fuel provider are introducing their new fuel with their own fromulas as the RON95 might be the primary fuel for motorist. SYNERGY 5000 FUEL LAUNCHED FOR ESSO AND MOBIL
ESSO Malaysia Berhad (Esso) and ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Mobil), subsidiaries of ExxonMobil in Malaysia, introduced its RON95-Synergy 5000-compliant fuel last Wednesday.
Synergy 5000, launched by Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Datuk Tan Lian Hoe, will replace Synergy Regular, the RON 92fuel to be phased out this September.
It will be one of the Synergy Family of fuels comprising Synergy F-1 (unleaded RON97 fuel) and Synergy Diesel.
“The Synergy 5000 contains the same fully synthetic quality additives found in Synergy F-1. Both fuels have been designed with engine cleansing, corrosion protection and friction reducing additives to help improve fuel economy and engine performance,” said Faridah Ali, retail business director for Esso Malaysia Berhad.
Also present was Hugh Thompson, chairman of ExxonMobil subsidiaries in Malaysia.
