SHELL FERRARI MODELS WITH TOUCH STEERING GET GOOD RESPONSE
Two weeks into the Shell-Ferrari model cars campaign, sales of the five limited edition model cars have been brisk.
In case you aren’t already aware of it, the latest campaign features five 1:38 scale Ferrari replicas, and these are the 430 Scuderia, FXX Evoluzione, 599 GTB Fiorano, 612 Scaglietti and the 360 GTC.
Faces looks familiar, but these come with a difference.
What makes this edition distinct is the touch steering function on the units. Featuring an innovative, built-in remote control smart navigational function, this allows owners to “steer” the models in up to 15 different directions with each pull back.
In Sabah and Sarawak, the response to the campaign has been similar, though the target audience may be a little different, it seems. “Surprisingly, most of our customers are women, who may have purchased them for their spouses or children,” according to a Shell retailer in Kuching, Jones Arthur Dunggat.
And they’ll take you to the finish line.
To complement the collection either for display or playability, the Shell Circuit Poster Play Kit and Shell Garage Set are also available in Shell retail stations and road-shows at RM15 and RM60 respectively.
And, during the 11-week promotion, which ends on May 11, customers who fuel up with Shell V-Power Racing will be rewarded with three times more points on their BonusLink cards.
