SELANGOR STATE GOVERNMENT FOLLOWS PERAK’S FOOTSTEP ON REPLACING OFFICIAL CAR

Its seems that our local proton perdana is not in demand anymore.Selangor state government are following perak’s foot step which they will use the new Toyota Camry instead of
our national car the Proton Perdana.

SHAH ALAM, Jan 17 — Selangor state executive council members have given the nod to the state government to purchase 15 Toyota Camry 2.4 to replace the current Proton Perdana
fleet used by them.

“It will cost the state government RM2.36 million to replace the Perdanas but our studies show it will be more cost effective in terms of maintenance in the long run. The Camry cars also come
with a three-year warranty,” the Press Secretariat of the Selangor Menteri Besar’s Office said in a statement here today.

It added that the cars cost RM157,074.89 each after a discount of RM10,000 per unit.
