As posted by our Editor IZ previously, the Proton Exora MT (Manual Transmission) MT had been unveiled yesterday. The manual version was launched by our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak after the launch of Felda Settlers Day celebrations at Felda Maokil.
The initial launch of the Proton first MPV had popped up a lot of question. Is the 1.6 liter campro enough to drive the car? Is the Exora underpowered? Is there a manual version? Is there a cheaper variant?And today, one of the question had been answered. There is a manual version. In fact some of us may heard the news already. For those who hasn’t, here comes the Manual Version Proton Exora.
The main difference between the Exora AT and Exora MT is the 5 speed gearbox. Other than that, everything is the same as the AT model. But the Manual version is only available in M-Line variant. Meaning you wont get the fancy DVD-Player and the GPS. Even the seats is wrapped n fabrics rather than leather found in he H-Line.
With the 5 speed gearbox, the price had been reduced to RM64,998 for Metallics and RM64,548 for basic paint.The cheaper price may increase the sales of the Exora. And with the manual gearbox, drivetrain loss is reduced meaning the power transmitted to the wheel is higher compared to the auto version.With the additional power, acceleration should increase while the fuel consumption would be better.
If the Manual version doesnt fit your budget, there is a possibilty of a launch of the B-Line model which is the most basic model in the line up.Featured here is theĀ spyshots of the possible B-Line Exora which was shot during a test run.The B-Line will be priced lower than the manual version.
And for those who said that Exora is underpowered, there is a high possibillity of the launch of the Campro 1.6 Turbo.Is it a new engine or the current 1.6 liter S4PH engine? We’re not so sure. But do check our previous article on the Campro Turbo Engine at The Proton Technology Week in Shah Alam.

ada yg dah nampak…tapi takde passenger airbag la….bulan ni pun rasanya proton dah take over dari P2……
kalau mereka yang ada perancangan nak beli exora, inilah model yang terbaik setakat ini.. masalah underpower mungkin dah boleh solved berbanding 1.6 transmisi automatik
Bila ada test drive aku nak cuba rasa Exora manual ni. Dengan harga yang berpatutan (lebih murah ke dari MPV P2?) dapatlah golongan yang memang perlukan MPV membelinya. Maklumlah pembelian kenderaan lebih kepada budget + keperluan. Siapa pun kita..kenderaan apa pun yang kita guna…apabila di jalanraya kita berkongsi sama mengguna jalanraya.

Kalo bli B-Line siapkan duit bli sport rims(16 ke 17),Tayar,Kulit,DVD,Fog lights…
memandangkan versi manual ni tak de seat kulit, sekadar nak tanya sape-sape yang expert la…..
Kalau pasang sendiri leather seat kat kedai ah beng berapa kosnya yerk? Kalau include DVD atau TV berapa rega semuanya?????
Gua rasa untuk zaman skrg ni M-Line tu dah kira basic lah takpayah B-Line,mencacatkan lagi rupa Exora tu..Baru tadi kat Suntec Singapore M-Line baru launch dah banyak org tanye takde seat kulit,Fog light,cruise control ke MPV ni?Ade dua variasi je skrg ni di S’pura yang seat kulit tambah 1.5k lagi..H-line tahun depan masuk dengan Turbo version.Hujung thn Gen2 CPS plak masuk

sebenarnye pemandu tu yg takut nak tekan lebih……
untuk engine campro ni…… dari gen2 lagi…. masalah ni..
masa baru beli tu tekan je padal minyak tu… ecu akan program karector pemandu..
kalau bawak macam siput dari awal2 maka sampai ketuala kete tu macam tu….
satu lagi yg beli kereta 2nd ni….
tukar ecu kalau nak power balik…
harga ecu tak sampai rm1k pun……
kalau pemandu tu sport mode… maka ecu pun program kat dia sport mode.
tapi harus diingat….. brake bukan penyelamat… tapi kelajuan membunuh…
aku dah order …………yahooooooo…….

tak tahanler nk tunggu citra…asyik kena temberang bertalu2 gan SA…janji manis terakhir yang aku terima adalah awal ogos…kebetulan aku gi showroom proton exora manual ada kat situ…SA tawarkan aku kete tu kalau aku book…apalagi aku samborler yang auto mmg aku kuarang minat sbb body dia beso cam tk gi plak gan 1.6…lg pun dulu bulan 3 NAZA kacau proton dia kasi giler khinzer punye harga citra 54k….ko bayangkan betapa tingginya tahap kesabaran aku dari bulan 4 aku tunggu dari harga 54k, …tukar..59k…tukar plak 65k …..tapi apa yang aku dapat….hampehhhhh….tk jugak aku dapat proton EXORA MANUAL………..
Ridhwanmatin SE S’pore yang bilang gua turbo mask pertengahan thn depan itupun kalau Proton MY banyak buat mass kalau tak tunggu lagi ler.Gen2 CPS pailing cepat hujung thn sebab permintaan timur tengah terhadap model ni meningkat.S’pore market kecik jer untuk Proton so kalau ade belen export baru ditolak sini.Kat S’pore pun Exora dah habis stok kena tunggu bulan oktober baru 2nd batch masuk
NOrman… pasal permintaan untuk gen2 di timur tengah tu meningkat itu aku dapat confirmkan sbb aku selalu masuk forum proton egypt.. mmg ramai merungut sbb lambat dapat keter.. kalau baru sampai dari mesia pun tak cukup… permintaan melebihi yg dihantar terutamanya gen2. pendek kata mmg kena tempah banyak bulan jugakla ,, tu pun tak tentu dapat… tapi gn2 kat mesia pulak yg tak berapa laku… mungkin sbb dimakan pasar persona kot. hehe.
