PORSCHE 918 RSR
As anticipated, Porsche has revealed the Coupe version of the 918 concept as this year’s Detroit auto show. However, the Porsche 918 RSR has two more party tricks up its sleeve. The front wheels are powered by two electric motors which output together a total of 150 kW. This means the total power output of the Porsche 918 RSR is a massive 767 hp.
The Porsche 918 RSR comes with a racing transmission taken of a RS Spyder race car. This means it has a ix-speed constant-mesh transmission with longitudinally mounted shafts and straight-toothed spur gears. you change gears in a Porsche 918 RSR by means of two shift paddles mounted behind the racing steering wheel.
The Porsche 918 RSR is a laboratory race car, which will be used by the German carmaker for developing new technologies. Some of those, will find their way into future Porsche production models.

The USA 2011 VW Passat 2.5L will have a 5-cylinder engine, developing 170 hp and 177 lb.-ft of torque and will be mated to a 5 speed manual transmission as standard, or an optional 6-speed automatic.
