You have seen many of unconfirmed picture of Mazda RX-9 2010 lah 2012 lah and whatsoever. The reality is that there are no pictures of actual Mazda RX-9 as spreaded widely through the internet. Many of it just a rendering image by RX-8 fans and car artists. By the way, they did a very good job and some of the picture are really amazing. Hope that Mazda will consider their design in their next plan.

RX-9 In The Works?
The rumourmill hasn’t just been grinding away on the RX-8 though. Lately, renderings of what some are calling the “RX-9” have been doing the rounds on various websites.
It’s the product of Winding Road’s sketch artist Glenn Poblete, and is intended to illustrate what Mazda might have up its sleeve when it comes time to retire the RX-8 around 2012. It’s a nice try by Winding Road, but I really do hope Mazda’s designers do a better job of it.
There has been much speculation as to what the 2012 Mazda RX-9 will look like, and here is yet another rendered as to what this much anticipated car will look like. This latest rendered came from an enthusiast in Japan, let’s hope that he got the job ah as this design is awesome.
The new RX-9 has a lot to live up too as it is set to replace the RX-8 in 2012, many believe that this latest rendering could be the closet to what the actual finished design is that Mazda have.
These images have appeared on the JustPut.com forum with the claim that they are quite possibly a Mazda RX-9 Concept, due for production in 2012. Not being a big fan of the styling of the RX-8, these renderings if genuine, do little to excite, appearing in many ways to be an evolution of the current car, less the rear doors. The rear styling appears to be unique but not terribly noteworthy.
It would be nice to see Mazda go back to its roots and develop a serious looking successor to the now legendary RX-7 series – and that means a genuine two door, like the renderings…but not like the renderings if you know what I mean.
The rest of the speculation is all good, with a larger 1.8-litre Renesis rotary sporting twin turbo-chargers, supposedly being earmarked for the “9” which should address the torque deficit found in the RX-8. The gearbox is reported to be a six-speed dual clutch unit similar to that found in Mitsubishi’s EvoX .
I’ll let you be the judge of whether the images are genuine or the product of a bored 12 year old on school holidays. What do you think? Is it nice?
