PERODUA DONATES PERODUA ALZA TO DYSLEXIC SOCIETY OF MALAYSIA.
Perodua today donated an Alza MPV to the Dyslexic Society of Malaysia as part of its Corporate Responsibility programme to help non-profit organisations to meet its goals of helping those in need. The vehicle was handed over by Perodua Managing Director Aminar Rashid Salleh to the society’s president, Sariah Amirin, at the Perodua headquarters outside Rawang, Selangor, today.
“As a responsible corporate citizen, Perodua wishes to be a part of this society’s goals and achievement,” said Encik Aminar Rashid Salleh, noting that those with Dyslexia are capable of achieving many things, despite their learning disability.
“These special people are often gifted with a different view of the world,” he said, “but it is unfortunate that this distinction causes them to be ostracised by their peers. However, with a little patients and guidance, these students can contribute greatly to society.” Encik Aminar Rashid Salleh further noted that famous people such as Albert Einstein had such a condition and yet his ability to see things differently changed the course of human history.
The Perodua MD expressed the hope that the car company and the Dyslexia Society of Malaysia could work together again in the future.
