Chevrolet Malaysia dealer, Naza Quest update their SUV line up, the Chevvy Captiva with new facelift, new grill, new sport rims, new interior features and new more powerful engine with the price tag of RM155,185. The new 18-inch wheels fitted and LED turn indicators on the wing mirrors.
The revised all-wheel drive Captiva also gets unique features such as an electric parking brake and steering wheel-mounted air conditioning control buttons.
The green lighting for the instrument panel has been changed to “ice blue” for a more modern feel.
Its Ecotec 2.4-litre petrol engine is now biofuel E85 capable and is equipped with double overhead camshafts and double continuously variable cam phasing.
As such, the engine power is increased to 167bhp from 136bhp previously while torque is higher at 225Nm from 220Nm.
Besides an ECO mode to help reduce fuel consumption, the six-speed automatic transmission is also equipped with a Driver Shift Control that allows the driver to manually select his gears of choice.
Other standard items include four airbags, anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution, traction control, electronic stability programme, hill start assist and self levelling rear suspension system.
Available in auburn brown, alpine white, black sapphire, royal gray, tornado red and sterling silver, the Captiva is priced at RM155,185 on-the-road without insurance
