    New Best Fuel Efficiency car – HYUNDAI I 10 – Coming soon
    Hyundai will come out with a new car model that will attract Malaysian because of its fuel efficiency of RM0.135/Litre and it will costs around RM40,000-RM50,000. This car can surely be a great competitor to Perodua model such as Perodua Viva and Myvi. KDI exposed this latest news with picture below.

    Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors Sdn Bhd aims to sell 200 units a month of the new Hyundai i10, a 1.1-litre compact car.

    Chief operating officer, Dennis Ho, said the company expected a positive demand for the car which has the latest safety technology.

    The car will be launched at the Cineleisure, The Curve, Damansara Perdana on Friday (1 August 2008).

    “The car has a unique look. It gives a fuel efficiency of 20 kilometres per litre,” he told Bernama at the pre-launch campaign here Wednesday.

    He said the car has motor-driven power steering that only could be found in the premium cars like Audi and BMW.

    “The car comes with a five-year or 3,000-km warranty or whichever comes first,” he said.

    Ho said the i10 was designed by Hyundai for the global market, especially for developed countries like Europe and the US, due to rising demand for a safety car.

    The car was recently launched in India.

    It has a power steering system and comes with the option of a four-speed automatic transmission for ease in city driving.

    Scoring on safety, the i10 comes with anti-lock braking system, seat belts with pretensioners, dual airbags for the driver and front passenger as well as an impact sensing auto door unlock mechanism that automatically unlocks the doors upon impact.
