Gathering of over 100 Ferrari owners to watch the European F1 marks first event by new national Ferrari distributor
Petaling Jaya, Malaysia 25 August 2008: NAZA ITALIA Chief Executive Officer SM Faisal Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama SM Nasimuddin today played host to Ferrari owners in Malaysia at a special European Grand Prix Evening that celebrated the gathering of the World’s most desired sports car and its owners at NAZA ITALIA’s temporary Ferrari stand at the NAZA Auto Mall PJ.
Appointed in March 2008, NAZA ITALIA began its public role as distributor of all things Ferrari in Malaysia with this special by invitation race screening event for the European Formula One race held today at Valencia, Spain. The screening, held at the company’s showroom and offices here, saw a gathering of over 100 Ferrari owners from around the country for an evening of fine food, good company and a fantastic race.
“We were appointed as the sole authorized distributor of all things Ferrari earlier this year and we will deliver more passion and excitement among Ferrari enthusiasts here with a host of activities being planned for the coming months,” said SM Faisal
“The experience that NAZA Group has gained over the past 33 years will play a key role in the development of our services and support of the Ferrari community here in Malaysia. We understand that Ferrari is about passion, excitement and excellence – all values that are present and a part of the NAZA Group. Together with our local knowledge and Ferrari’s world class engineering, design and performance focused offerings, we can only take local Ferrari owners to new heights,” added SM Faisal.
NAZA ITALIA is currently building a dedicated 45,000sq foot showroom and service centre that is designed to meet the needs of local Ferrari owners. The showroom will allow local owners access to the latest designs, engineering resources and service functions from fully trained and qualified Ferrari mechanics to ensure that their vehicles are properly maintained.
In the meantime, while we wait for the new state of the art center to be completed, NAZA ITALIA has developed a dedicated Ferrari stand and temporary after sales center in NAZA Auto Mall Petaling Jaya to ensure that the needs of local Ferrari owners can be addressed and fulfilled today.
“We want people to drive their Ferrari’s and live the dream. The coming months will see special events, offers and programs for both current and future Ferrari owners that will reflect the exclusivity and performance of the Ferrari brand and vehicles,” Faisal said.
