NASIM SDN BHD EXPECT 300% SALES GROWTH FOR PEUGEOT CARS IN MALAYSIA

Nasim Sdn Bhd (NSB), a member of Naza Group of Companies and the official franchise holder of Peugeot Automobiles’ vehicles in Malaysia, expects to record 300 percent growth in sales this year.
Joint Group Executive Chairman of Naza, SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin on Wednesday said NSB increased its sales from 900 units of various Peugeot models last year to 2,200 units to date.
“We are expecting to reach our target of 2,800 units by year end,” he said to reporters after opening the first Peugeot sales, service and spare parts (3S) centre in the northern region at Juru Autocity, here.
NSM also exports Peugeot models such as the 207, 407 and 308 to Thailand and to date some 100 units have been exported to the country.
With increasing sales, there is a greater need for 3S centres to provide quality service with specialised tools, Nasarudin said.
Therefore, the company has invested RM500,000 for the 3S centre here and plans to spend the same amount for another 3S centre in Kuching next month.
The centre here is equipped with the Peugeot Planet System – specialised diagnostic tools and three service bays to provide quality service to its customers up north.
“These, together with technical support from Peugeot Automobiles, will enable NSB to provide prompt and reliable services to all Peugeot owners,” he added.
NSB has eight Peugeot authorised dealers and nine branches nationwide and is supported by a regional training centre and office in Petaling Jaya.
He said the regional training centre catered to Peugeot’s regional markets in Australia, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, Nepal, New Zealand, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia.
