Sepang International Circuit (SIC) is offering Malaysians the opportunity to conquer the track in a low carbon footprint way, with the kick-off of its first Motorsport-Free Morning from 6.30am to 9.00am on 23 May 2015.
The initiative is one of SIC’s efforts to promote healthy living among Malaysians by encouraging them to enjoy an unrivalled experience at the 5,543-meter world class race track.
“In this first-of-its-kind event, we are encouraging Malaysians of all ages to come over with friends and families with their bicycles, rollerblades and skateboards or even just their running shoes to enjoy a truly unique experience.
This is the first time we are opening the track to the public free of charge, as previous non-motorised events held here were paid activities.
Whether you’re a devoted sports or outdoor enthusiast or just looking for a unique weekend experience, I believe the Motorsport-Free Morning will appeal to you,” said SIC Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Razlan Razali.
