Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S
At the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Maserati had unveiled their latest edition of the Maserati Quattroporte Sport GT S.The car was unveiled as a celebration of their 70th anniversary since they’ve won the first Indianapolis 500 Race. The Car is termed as
“a real driving machine in the guise of a luxury sedan”.
There’s not much room for improving the scrumptious Maserati Quattroporte, but that hasn’t stopped the Trident from trying. Maser’s latest effort has resulted in the Quattroporte Sport GT S, an even sportier version of what is already one of the sportiest sedans in the world, the Quattroporte S.
There are no performance figures yet on the 433-hp sedan. Maserati said that it has upgraded the gearshift management software, the front and rear suspension system with single rate-dampers, stiff springs and a lower ride height, and a new sports exhaust that creates a “deep, throaty and captivating sound.”
Among the changes made on the outside includes the new black grille with concave vertical fins featuring the Trident logo with red accents, typical of the sportier versions of Maserati models,a new headlights, in metallic titanium finish, the side and rear ‘shadow line’,which includes black
finishing around the doors, body-colored door handles and black twin oval exhaust pipes, the new M-design seats with perforated Alcantara and leather upholstery ,the standard trim in Titantex, a ‘titanium colored’ composite material.
The price have not yet been confirmed but an estimated price tag of $140,000 is possible. And there is no set production limits on the GT S which made this car a little bit less special.
