From now until 15 March 2011, First Class passengers and Enrich Platinum card members flying on Malaysia Airlines will experience a new level of luxury.
The national carrier is offering an exclusive transfer service to ferry these passengers in Porsche Panameras from the Main Terminal Building to the Satellite Building at KL International Airport (KLIA) to catch their flights.
This service is implemented as a temporary measure due to the KLIA Aerotrain closure until March 2011 for upgrading work.
Malaysia Airlines Executive Vice President, Managing Director’s Office, Muzzaffar Othman said, “We are constantly looking for ways to improve the travel experience for our customers. With the Aerotrain not in service until March next year, we saw a great opportunity to provide a new experience to our premium passengers.
“We pleased to be able to partner with Sime Darby Auto Performance to provide the Porsches for this service.
“With this luxury transfer service, customers can go directly to gate G1 at the Main Terminal Building and gate C1 at the Satellite Building for pick up and drop off. The same gates are used for both outbound and inbound passengers,” he said.
Premium passengers will be given the Priority Transfer Invitation Cards during their check-in at Row D in KLIA. In bound passengers will obtain the invitation on board the aircraft. It is also available at the Regional Lounge at the Main Terminal Building, Golden Lounge at the Satellite Building as well as the Airport Operations Assistant at Gate G1.
