The operations of BUFORI started over 20 years ago in Sydney, Australia before it was transfered to Malaysia in 1994.Now the BUFORI Motor Car Company has created yet another masterpiece which is the 5th Generation of BUFORI cars, the BUFORI “La JOYA”. In Spanish “La JOYA” means Jewel.

A BUFORI La JOYA is so special because it is built to order. One will not simply walk into a showroom and drive off with your dream-car.

From the first moulding process, the BUFORI La JOYA will carry your name. You will be able to follow the production process and see how your dreamcar slowly comes together.A BUFORI La JOYA is built in approximately 3,5000 man hours, going through 25 production stages.

Homologated to Euro-4 standards by the German TÜV, the heart of the La Joya is a 2.7 litre quad cam 172hp V6 engine which is mid mounted just ahead of the rear axle. It is a very reliable powerplant which will allow you to drive the La JOYA with confidence. However, for those who require some additional power, super charging will be the choice.

Every BUFORI La JOYA comes with a 2 year warranty (or 50,000 kms, whichever comes first). For exported cars, they offer free parts replacement and service parts for 2 years (excluding fluids). Furthermore, BUFORI guarantees a worldwide part backup within 48 hours.

Safety Features

Although the La JOYA comes with classic design, its safety features are same as the modern car.It has an anti-lock bracking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), traction control, driver’s airbag, seatbelt pre-tensioners and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). In the rare case of a flat tyre (the tyres are Kevlar enforced), you would simply use the Conti Kit, a device that quickly and easily inflates a punctured tyre. Only 3 car models worldwide feature this device.

Welding in the metal department of BUFORI

BUFORI stainless steel parts are all painstakingly hand polished, fine leather being meticulously stitched to a steering wheel in the trimming department, carpet being cut and one out of ten wire-hamesses for each car being prepared in the electrical department.
