One of the most innovative idea by a company called Flash Rods is to use the scale model car as a casing for an external flash drive or hard disk. They had integrated a hard drive into various types of scale model cars.
The company’s latest creation is a 1:18 scale Audi R8 that incorporates a hard drive disk that connects up to your PC by USB to store all your files. The company said that the Audi R8 will be available for sale on November 1st, in 250GB, 500GB and 640GB configurations and numerous colors.
Price for the Audi R8 model hasn’t been announced yet but the already available 1:18 scale Dodge Challenger and Nissan GTR HDDs both start from $209.99 for the 250GB versions.
