Good news for Mercedes-Benz fans as Carlssons had unveiled their latest kit for the 2010 E-Class sedan W212. The tuning kit includes an engine upgrades, interior changes,suspension upgrade, some exterior changes, and a new aerodynamic kit.
The new aerodynamics kit which has been elaborately developed by head designer Rolf Schepp, immediately attracts the attention. The Carlsson Mercedes has an entirely newly designed front apron with vertically adjusted xenon-light LED daylight running lights and a stainless steel grid under the gracefully built radiator grill.
The suspension system employed is called C-Tronic SUSPENSION and can lower the car by up to 42mm. Not only that but it can also adjust itself to suit whatever road condition prevails so that at each turn there is a good combination of sportiness and comfort.
Complimenting the suspension system is a 20-inch rims in a 5-double-spoke design in matte black.
As for the interior, a suede leather trim for the gear knob and aluminum door lock bolts are available optionally. While a studded aluminum pedal layers and foot rests are used for better floor grip and Carlsson labeled floor mats are also included.
For under the hood the docs at Carlsson are prescribing 40 extra horses on the E 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and 46 for the E 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY. For the heftier E 500, there’s the CM50K full exhaust kit which includes racing headers, high-performance catalysts and stainless steel mufflers providing a 55 hp increase in power output.
The car will be displayed to public at the Tuning World Bodensee in Friedrichshafen between April 30th and May 3rd.
