The Bmw X6 had gone the Hybrid way. Bmw had officially unveiled their new X6 Activehybrid recently.
The X6 Activehybrid is powered by a 400 hp 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine and two electric synchronous motors (rated at 91 hp and 86 hp) which made a combined maximum output of 480 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque.The combination made it possible to accelelerate the sports suv fromn 0-60 mph in only 5.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 130mph.As any other hybrids, the fuel consumption improved by around 20% with a CO2 rating of 231 grams per kilometer.
The engine is connected to a two-mode active transmission with two electric motors, three planetary gearsets, and four multi-plate clutches. At low speeds, only one electric motor is used. When more power is required, the second motor automatically starts the combustion engine. This feature makes the X6 AH a “full hybrid” because it can run exclusively on electric power at speeds up to 37 mph (60 km/h) for up to 1.6 miles.
The 2.4 kWh NiMH battery pack is charged whenever the car deccelerate using the brake energy regeneration. The battery features a self contained liquid cooling system for optimum operation and to prolong the life of the battery during extreme conditions.
The X6 AH also features an electronic power steering system, an Auto Start/Stop system, a modified suspension, a lightweight braking system, a “powerdome” hood, and 20-inch light-alloy Aero wheels.

Sekarang teknologi makin canggih.Gear shift pun dah tak pakai sebaliknya pakai putar mcm suara radio punye.Tapi kalau rosak jawablah..Mcm komponen elektronik nak kena bukak.Brg skrg ni sedap mata memandang jer tapi tak tahan.Dulu peti ais toshiba thn 92 gua pakai tak pernah gas habis dan timer tak rosak selama 7 thn.Skrg pakai Sharp Nana thn 2006 timer dah kondem..
