Concept car is one way to predict what you will see in your neighborhood in the future. But not every concept car will hit the road.Some may enter the production lines and some will only stay on the drawing board.
The concept car featured here is design study by Iulian Bumbu, a graduate of the Transportation Design Course at the Scuola Politecnica di Design (SPD) in Milan.This BMW S.X Concept represents the next generation luxury sports coupe from BMW could look like. And it would be well positioned to take over where the current 6 Series BMW.
The design has high-mount brake lights incorporated into the edges of the rear window, and lateral vents are placed just behind the front wheels. The design strikes a balance; it is neither a radical departure from the BMW design language, nor does it blindly follow the same.
Bumbu declined to comment on what engine would provide motivation for the S.X, but the X5 M’s 555hp (408kW) twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 seems like a logical choice.
Looking at the images of this very aggressive and sporty looking vehicle we’re hoping this car becomes a reality as well.
