2010 CADILLAC SLS
At the Beijing Auto Show, Shanghai GM unveiled the new 2010 Cadillac SLS, one of the two new models for China along with the Buick Excelle XT. The new SLS gets a new design theme that is uniform with the Cadillac brand and sits on a wheelbase that extends beyond 3,000 mm.
The Chinese market SLS will be available with a choice of two direct-injection engines mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with manual mode. The base model is powered by a 3.0L SIDI engine making 272-hp while the range-topper gets a 3.6L SIDI engine making 310-hp. Fuel-consumption on both engines is improved by 9 percent.
HONDA LI NIAN EVERUS CONCEPT
At the 2010 Beijing Motor Show, Honda surprised the automotive world with a new concept for its LI NIAN brand, Guangqi Honda’s proprietary automobile brand (previously known as Guangzhou Honda).
It looks something like a Honda City with rear design cues from the Honda Airwave and a large Acura-like grille on the front. Unfortunately, no additional details on the Honda LI NIAN Everus Concept were revealed.
