    THE V6 PROTOTYPE

    The engine features a three part aluminium casting twin plenum resonance type manifold with tuned internal plenum link pipes of 160mm and 500mm for increased power and torque as well as EMS controlled plenum switching actuators.Besides,it has continously variable cam phasing and direct acting camshafts that enables it to have a low mass valve-train.The engine uses a spit flow cooling system and has an integrated oil cooler as well as piston cooling jets

    The engine is a originally 1.6 Campro used in the GEN 2,PERSONA and also the SATRIA NEO.In this one,the Proton R&D team had installed a turbocharger on the engine to suplement the engine with higher power at high rpm.

      Why can’t these guys show the torque and power diagram. Whether its low and mid rev torque is as good as others.
      Specific fuel consumption figures would be nice too. However, this has always been a covert market intelligence

      hurm..currently I am using savvy with renault engine., but lately I saw R&D people are improving our campro engine a lot. feels like want to change to campro lah..hohoh.. maybe nest time I buy new car… or… if campro can fit in savvy..hahah.. =P

      saya memang minat nak pasang turbocharged pada satria neo saya, so blh saya tahu detail n jumlah perbelanjaan untuk memasang set turbo tersebut..
      harap dapat jawapan secepat mungkin..

      Rasanye turbo charge ni masih dlm R&D lg, sbb tu segala maklumat tentang torque and power diagram x dinyatakan lg, mybe kne tggu next year bila segala ujian realibility pada engine campro tu x menyusahkn pengguna yg nk pasang pada kete masing2.. tau2 je la nnt rakyat malaysia akan complain klu ade problem nnt kn… fkr la sendiri….
