2013 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE
After several years the VW Beetle do not come with the new model, the all new 2013 Beetle will be unveiled at Shanghai Motor Show.The all-new 2013 Beetle original shape will remain intact, but dimensions will reportedly grow to afford a more spacious cabin.Volkswagen is taking a vastly different approach with the unveiling of its all-new 2013 Beetle. Aside from its official Shanghai debut, the car will get a pair of global roll-outs courtesy of MTV World Stage concerts. The Black Eyed Peas will officially introduce the new Bug at a New York-based concert, while European duo 2maydjs will reveal the car in Berlin.
SUBARU XV CONCEPT
At approximately the same time the 2012 Impreza makes its public debut in New York, Shanghai will get its first glimpse of Subaru’s XV concept. Subaru has been fairly coy surrounding the details of its latest
concept, save for a shadowy silhouette of the vehicle. We suspect the VX is the new Impreza in hatchback form, but we won’t know for sure until next week’s unveiling.
BMW 5 SERIES PLUG-IN HYBRID, M5 CONCEPT
A pair of BMW 5 Series sedans with vastly different purposes are set to make their debut in China next week. BMW’s M5 will make an appearance in concept form at the show next week. Although billed a concept, the show car is an excellent look at what’s to come. The production variant is said to be premiering at the Frankfurt show come September. BMW Brilliance Automotive – the German automaker’s Chinese arm — engineered a plug-in hybrid based on the China-only extended-wheelbase 5 Series. The luxury hybrid has been confirmed for Chinese production, and is capable of traveling 47 miles on electricity alone.
