Yesterday, KDI editors have a time to visit SIC Sepang International Circuit during the free visit day on Friday training session. Guess what? If you don’t have a chance to see the F1 race by buying the f1 race ticket priced at around RM100, you still can see them in action only on Friday training session at the Grandstand. Yes! It is open for all because no ticket will be sell for training session. Everyone can enter to the grandstand area and watch them do their training. For us, we just getting around there to accompany our friend Marzuki who have the opportunity to enter the Pit Tour. We will post another article regarding his Pit Tour after this post.
WELCOME TO SEPANG INTERNATIONAL FORMULA 1 CIRCUIT SIC – FREE VISIT TO GRANDSTAND
What you can do at SIC? Well, there are a lot of Merchandise Shop selling souvenirs for F1 like T-shirt, Cap and lanyard. We manage to grab one lanyard for RM10 only for ourself. Above picture shows the official SIC cars, the Volkswagen Golf GTI. You can see the Muzium Automobil Nasional at the right corner of the entrance with blue sign board. There you can look for Malaysia’s Automotive History with auto display like Proton, Perodua, Modenas, Hicom and classic cars.
This one is the most classic car with traditional gasoline/kerosene fire lamp. Quite funny concept of a car using this type of lamp.
Just go to straight to the grandstand. Not so many people during Friday training session. And you can enjoy a good game at LG booth where Azameel managed to do his Bowling Strike and get a free LG cap there. =)
The Petronas BMW Sauber Formula one Car displayed at the entrance of SIC. I think this is the most stylish design f1 car because of the front spoiler looks different. We also managed to get a snap with those hot models there..=p
Jom komen!
