VOLKSWAGEN GOLF TDI
The Golf is launching with an array of 1.2- and 1.4-liter gas engines and 1.6- or 2.0-liter TDI diesels. The TDI drives considerably sprightlier with its few extra ponies and lighter burden. It pulls harder to 5000 rpm than most diesels, and at lower rpm, pressing the accelerator past the kickdown switch delivers a noticeable shot extra of power, even in the manual.TDI engines are cooled using one mechanical water pump and two electric ones.
The Compass have Side curtain airbags, Brake Traction Control, a driver controlled three mode Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Brake Assist, Electronic Roll Mitigation, and Anti lock Brake System (ABS) with rough-road detection are all included, along with front-seat side airbags and active head restraints. The Compass gains Jeep’s Trail Rated badge, bringing a continuously variable transaxle that engages in off-road mode, a one inch higher ride height, skid plates, and a full-size spare.
Power comes on strong from a 300 horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6, which delivers impressive passing power even with a full load, with a six-speed automatic transmission, and a very smart, dynamically sharp all-wheel-drive system puts the power to the pavement or gravel, sand, or snow confidently.
The Coda Sedan is an all electric four door sedan that blends a Chinese manufactured body with a lithium-ion battery pack and electric drivetrain installed in the United States. The performance delivered by the Coda’s 100-kilowatt (134-hp) electric motor is adequate to keep up with traffic. The car handles rush hour stop and go traffic, high-speed freeway mileage, and twisting mountain roads with composure if not enthusiasm.
