Highway concessionaires offers discounts and rebates on the toll rates for Highway users this festive season 25th December 2012 from 5% up to 37.5%. Below news from thestar regarding the Highway involved in giving discounts during this Christmas.
TOLL DISCOUNTS ON CHRISTMAS
The Malaysian Highway Authority, in a statement today, said this involves 20 concessionaires and 24 toll highways, including the New North Klang Straits Bypass, which offers a 10 per cent discount for all classes of vehicles from 11pm on Dec 24 until 8am on Dec 25.
Class 1 vehicles plying the North South Expressway, North South Central Link, Seremban-Port Dickson Highway, Kulim-Butterworth Highway and Malaysia-Singapore Second Link Expressway will enjoy a 10 per cent discount from Dec 25 to 27.
The Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway, Shah Alam-Kuang Expressway and the Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway will be offering discounts of 10 per cent for all vehicles from 6am on Dec 25 until 6am on Dec 26.
For motorists on other highways, discounts and rebates will begin from midnight on Dec 24 until 11.59pm on Dec 25.
These highways include the Damansara-Puchong Highway, Kuala Lumpur Traffic Dispersal Scheme, SMART Highway, Shah Alam Expressway, South Klang Valley Expressway, Sungai Besi Highway, Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway and the Guthrie Corridor Expressway.
It also includes the New Pantai Expressway, Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway, Cheras Kajang Highway, Kajang Highway, KL-Putrajaya Highway, Kajang-Seremban Highway, KL-Karak Highway, East Coast Expressway Phase 1 and the Senai-Desaru Expressway.
