KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29 — In celebrating 25 years of its automotive history, Proton Holdings Bhd will have one of the largest displays at the upcoming Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2010 (KLIMS 2010).
The event will held from Dec 3-12 at the Putra World Trade Centre.
Group managing director Datuk Syed Zainal Abidin Syed Mohamed Tahir said Proton would be showcasing 20 vehicles, including concept cars, show cars, rally cars and electric vehicles at its booth.
“Proton has come a long way over the last 25 years and the display at the KLIMS is to share our accomplishments with all Malaysians,” he added in a statement here Monday.
According to Syed Zainal, the display booth at the KLIMS 2010 will also highlight the Proton road map for the future, to give visitors an insight into some of the latest technological advancement and vehicles being developed.
“A key area we also intend to profile is technology acquisition. We hope visitors will be able to see, understand and appreciate that its application goes beyond the creation of new vehicle models,” he explained.
Proton will also set up a lifestyle boutique at the booth where visitors can get the company’s merchandises and a live styling studio that enables owners to customise their own Proton cars.
