Nasim Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of the Peugeot brand in Malaysia, has launched a Peugeot Blue Box in Malacca.The 3S centre in Malacca is part of Nasim’s plan to rapidly expand its network in the country. Among the services offered at the Peugeot Blue Box Malacca are basic servicing such as oil change, wheel alignment and balancing, body and paint services as well as windscreen replacement and vehicle inspection.

PEUGEOT BLUE BOX OPENS IN MALACCA
Nasim Sdn Bhd has opened another Peugeot Blue Box, this time in Malacca, as part of its plan to expand its retail network nationwide, particularly in areas that are currently underserved. The new outlet in Malacca will be followed by the launch of 3S centres in Kota Kinabalu, Kota Bharu, Balakong, Sungai Petani, Kuantan, Kepong and Seremban.
The Peugeot Blue Box Malacca is operated and owned by Sin Kwung Premium Sdn Bhd. Among the services offered are basic servicing needs such as oil changes, wheel alignment and balancing, body and paint services as well as windscreen replacement and vehicle inspection.
The service centre is equipped with a Peugeot Planet System Diagnostic tool which enables the service personnel at the centre to perform full static and dynamic diagnostics on the vehicle’s management software. It can also be utilized to carry out software updates to ensure the vehicle’s electronic controls are running on the latest software for optimum performance and efficiency. The Peugeot Blue Box Malacca has three service bays and can handle up to 10 cars a day.
“By having a more extensive network, we will be able to bring the Peugeot brand to more markets in the country and to better serve our existing customers in these markets,” said Dato’ Samson Anand George, COO of Nasim.
In due course, Nasim will have 26 Peugeot outlets nationwide, covering all the major areas in the country. In addition, the flagship Peugeot Blue Box presently in Glenmarie, Selangor, to a new 82,000 sq ft facility in the same area to cater to the increasing volume for aftersales services.
Nasim aims to sell 7,000 units of Peugeot vehicles this year and by the end of May, it has already achieved 37% of that target. The sale volume for the first five months of this year is 152% higher than for the same period in 2010.
