Malaysia My Second Home is a programme initiated by the Malaysian Government to offer people from all over the world the opportunity to stay in Malaysia for as long as they like. This is made possible with a long-term, renewable Social Visit Pass with a multiple-entry Visa.
Malaysian Government welcome foreign nationals (except Israel, Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro ) to stay in Malaysia on a long term Social Visit Pass under the “MALAYSIA – MY SECOND HOME PROGRAMME” and duration of stay is for a period of five(5) years with a Multiple Entry Visa.
However, it DOES NOT entitle a permanent resident status.
One of the benefits of this programme is being entitled to purchase a new car locally assembled car with excise duty and sales tax exemption. Volvo Car Malaysia is pleased to offer all successful applicants with this benefit when purchasing a new Volvo.
