Nasim Sdn Bhd’s current nationwide expansion exercise continued today with the launch of Peugeot Blue Box Kota Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Peugeot Blue Box Kota Damansara is the seventh outlet launched by Nasim this year following the launch of Peugeot Balakong 2S, Peugeot Penang, Peugeot Blue Box Seremban, the new Peugeot Blue Box Glenmarie, Peugeot Blue Box Chan Sow Lin and Peugeot Blue Box Kota Bharu.
Peugeot Blue Box Kota Damansara is a 3S (sales, service and spare parts) centre owned and operated by GE Carriage Sdn Bhd. The company invested RM3 million on the 11,520 sq ft facility which has eight service bays and the capacity to service up to 24 cars a day. Peugeot Blue Box Kota Damansara will serve customers in Damansara, Sungai Buloh, Rawang and Serendah.
“The Klang Valley is a key market for us with sales comprising 53% of total Peugeot sales in Malaysia. As such we have invested heavily this year to expand our presence in this market. “This year alone, we have launched three new 3S centres and one 2S centre in the Klang Valley to cater to the growing demand in this market,” said Dato’ Samson Anand George, COO of Nasim. In total, he said there are now 10 sales outlets and seven service centres in the Klang Valley. With the launch of Peugeot Blue Box Kota Damansara, there are now 22 Peugeot sales outlets in the country and 18 service centres.
Dato’ Samson said Nasim and its dealers have invested RM30 million this year to strengthen the Peugeot network in the country. “In 2013, we will continue our network expansion exercise. We plan to open 12 new outlets which will include outlets in Kuala Terengganu, Ampang, Taiping, Old Klang Road, Penang, Alor Setar and Batu Pahat,” he said. He added that Peugeot sales in Malaysia this year had reached a new record with over 6,000 units sold in as at Nov 30, 2012, surpassing its all-time of 5,400 units in 2011.
Peugeot’s best-selling models have been the 207 followed by the 508, the 308 and the all-new 408. All Peugeots come with a five-year warranty with unlimited mileage.
