Sepang International Circuit has introduced a new set of trophies for the 2009 Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix, which takes place this Apr 3-5.
Tumasek Pewter was commissioned to design the four trophies, which of course will be presented to the respective winners on race day. They are the Driver Winner’s Trophy to the 1st Placed Driver, the 2nd Placed Driver’s Trophy and the 3rd Placed Driver’s Trophy as well as the Constructor Winner’s Trophy.
One more for the cupboard, for whoever wins it.
The pewter trophies have a mirror finish except for the circular base which is made of solid wood and finished in high gloss black.
The 3D figurine of the circuit is finished in a combination of mirror and fine textured stain and buff pewter to offer depth and contrast to the design.
Now, who’ll be the winner of this new one, then?
Jom komen!
