NAZA DONATES QUARTER OF A MILLION TO CHARITY.

The NAZA Group of Companies Joint Group Executive Chairman Dato’ Hj SM Faisal Tan Sri SM Nasimuddin contributed RM 250,000 to five charity homes throughout the country, in conjunction with its Hari Raya Open House last Sunday. The RM 250,000 were proceeds from NAZA World’s “Ramadhan Promotion” that was held from Aug 11 and Sept 10.

Dato’ Hj SM Faisal had, in conjunction with the promotion, announced that he would personally pledge RM500 for each vehicle sold during the month-long Ramadhan. Due to overwhelming response, some 500 vehicles were sold during the period.

“As our sales campaign was very successful, most thanks to our charitable customers, I decided to pledge a contribution to the needy. I would like to thank all our customers in making this campaign a success,” he said.

The charity homes are from across five states.

Rumah Penyayang Tun Abdul Razak, of Pekan in Pahang, houses 63 people, between the ages of 9 and 18, while Pertubuhan Sinar Damsyik Malaysia (PERSIDAM) Maahad Tahzib Wa Al-Taalim is located in Shah Alam, with 80 religious students.

Rumah Tunas Harapan Payong (Rumah Anak-Anak Keluarga Bermasalah) houses some 56 children from the ages of 7 to 18, and is based in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan.

Also on the list of homes is an old folks home called Rumah Seri Kenangan that takes care of more than 300 people, and is located in Bedong, Kedah.

An orphanage is also part of the mix with Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak Yatim Islam Kluang, from Kluang, Johor, receiving the contribution.

Dato’ Hj SM Faisal also presented “Duit Raya” to some 120 children from 3 orphanages around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur – Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Limpahan Kasih Puchong, Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Damai Kuang and Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Kariah Masjid Bandar Baru Sentul.
