We have decided to dismantle one of our car key, from a Chevrolet vehicle. This car key fitted with immobilizer chip for safety and trunk open button instead of normal door open and lock with alarm.
LETS SEE WHAT IS INSIDE A CAR KEY WITH IMMOBILIZER CHIP
You can see the immobilizer chip, the black one on the left of the car key battery.
This circuit board controls the alarm system and equipped with the 3 buttons on it.
To duplicate a car key with immobilizer, it may costs up to RM300++ depends on car model.
