    ISUZU D-MAX gets 49.7 KM/L FUEL CONSUMPTION!

    3 July 2008 Dura-Miles Challenge Kuching where 32 Isuzu D-Max owners pitted their vehicles and their driving skills against each other to determine who could make their D-Max sip the least amount of diesel along a 120km route.

    Surprisingly, the ISUZU D-MAX 3.0 Litre  achieved 49.71km per litre of fuel consumption! And the 2.5 Litre D-MAX achieved 44.89km/litre

    On average, the competitors returned with a consumption of just 39.7km per litre having used 3.03 litres, a remarkable feat considering that most drivers had never competed in a contest of this nature before. This means the average cost of an ISUZU D-MAX is just 6.8 cents Ringgit Malaysia RM0.068 per kilometer! (RM2.7/L fuel price) Equal fuel consumption of a motorcycle.

      macam tak logik jer… satu liter bleh pg sampai 49.7 km…
      setakat yang saye tahu kebanyakan kereta boleh pegi antara 10 hingga 24 km setiap liter…..
      yang nie sampai dua kali ganda…. betul ker?

      ya.. macam x percaya kan? tapi memang betul dan dah disahkan rekod oleh AAM. Boleh rujuk laman rasmi isuzu malaysia di bahagian news. Isuzu D-max boleh pergi lebih jauh sebab penggunaan teknologi enjin diesel yang lain unik dan terbaru sesuai untuk pickup truck. Kebanyakan enjin diesel terutamanya pickup truck sekarang mempunyai penggunaan minyak yang begitu menjimatkan. Seperti mitsubishi triton lite dan isuzu d-max

      Saya plan nak beli kereta 4WD yang mampu milik dengan pendapatan saya +-RM3,500.00 per month. Saya masih belum buat keputusan sama ada nak beli Toyota hilux atau isuzu dmax.. mb somebody can advice me in terms of best value for money with great performances. those dealer and experience owner can email that info at [email protected]… im planning to buy next month.. thanks

      After hard time select pick up, my conclusion, I bought Isuzu Dmax. Besides Dmax, honestly I say, fuel consumption are a bit higher than Dmax. On the top picture, I finished 38.8km/litre with not even take a single things out from my car. Many would buy Toyota Hilux as conclusion, but think twice. Hilux are can be say the top most unstable pick up. The rear suspension are to high. Once taking corner fast, u can feel the weight distribution is not stable. Other still can go much faster than Toyota Hilux. And even one of my friend has already end up 90′ degree on the road. It is very comfortable but same goes to Isuzu Dmax too with nearly can’t hear sound from outside. The most brilliant engine of course goes to Isuzu Dmax 3.0di iTeq. Once u start it, I never hit second ‘kick’. Just twice than can start already. For Hilux, some times u need few ‘kick’ then engine will start. For mitsubishi Triton, I can show u the back seats. The seats are to high makes me like kneel and numb for long distance. Once u get out from it, my leg weak. But for performance, Triton 3.2 can be said the best. But of course we are not use for racing, and the most important is comfort and stability of the car. So from my point of view, Dmax are the most brilliant.

      hi, setakat ni memang Dmax jadi pilihan ramai, ta kira la 3.0 ka, 2.5 ka. bagi saya, bentuk luar /dalam Dmax memang ‘smart’. ada juga saya lihat2 Ranger XL baru tu, memang tiada commonrail tapi ada satu ‘benda’ yang Ford kekalkan, 4WDnya. saya hairan juga kenapa Isuzu ta letak 4WD untuk Dmax 2.5, dan harga Dmax 2.5 dengan Ranger XL sama sahaja. interior? ruang belakang Dmax agak selesa berbanding Ranger, tapi kalau mahu ruang belakang lebih luas, boleh tengok Navara (tapi harga Navara… terus terang, mahal !). cadangan, kalau mahu double-cab dengan harga termampu tapi ta mahu guna 4WD, Dmax pilihan yang sesuai, tapi kalau mau guna 4WD juga, Ranger XL pilihan yang tepat.

      hi semua! aku skrg tgh kompius. aku minat kat isuzu dmax 3.o i-teq, tp x tau samada nak beli auto or manual transmission. in terms of penggunaan minyak per KM, apakah perbandingan penggunaan minyak antara dmax auto berbanding manual. kalo beza penggunaan minyak sikit, baik aku angkat auto ajer. So, ada apa2 cadangan atau knowledge yg korank bole share? aku ni newbie utk pickup cars ni, tp smp skrg mmg x dpt cari jawapan yg tepat utk persoalan aku ni smapai ke mimpi aku bawak… please help… tolong…… auto or manual for fuel efficiency? and what is the firrerence in terms of fuel usage when comapring both transission? how many percent difference? thanx dudes!

      saya dah tengok triton lite… salesman tu cakap minyak murah… 15/16km/liter…

      kos maintenance triton lite RM100++ or RM200++

      ruang dalam luas sama macam triton 2.5cc or 3.2cc.. cuma beberapa yang tiada…

      cuma rendah jer…

      Minta penjelasan sikit mengenai turbo yg ada pd kreta d-max 2.5cc. Apa beza & perincikan keseluruhan perbezaan turbo yg ada pada 2.5cc kreta d-max 4×4 dan 4×2. Ble tak turbo 4×4 masuk ke 4×2? Apa respon..? Minta pencerahan & Tq admin…
