CAN I MIX PRIMAX 3 WITH RON92?
Yes. Primax 3 can be mixed with all commercial grades of gasoline available in Malaysia. However, all gasoline introduced in vehicles must follow the Research Octane Number (RON) requirement as per the vehicle manufacturers’ recommendations. Mixing Primax 3 with any other gasoline will not, however, unleash its full potential.

IS RON 95 SUITABLE FOR MY CAR?
Most vehicles can use RON 95 fuels. However, it is best to refer to your car’s manual or the back of the petrol tank lid of your car for the recommended octane rating. Alternatively, you could also check with your vehicle manufacturer or with an authorized vehicle distributor.
HOW IS PETRONAS PRIMAX 95 DIFFERENT FROM PETRONAS PRIMAX 3 FUEL?
PETRONAS PRIMAX 3 is PETRONAS’ premium grade of unleaded motor gasoline that has an octane rating of 97. Our new PETRONAS PRIMAX 95 fuel brings to the market a RON 95 premium fuel option that meets the demand for greater fuel economy and efficiency.
PRIMA 92.
PRIMA 92 will be replaced by the PRIMAX 95 this september.PRIMA 92 is a regular grade motor gasoline with anti-knock properties suitable for spark ignition engines. Its volatility is controlled to provide maximum economy, easy starting and good acceleration. Prima 92 meets the specification set by SIRIM MS 118 (1996). It is red in colour and available in over 170 Petronas Service Stations, nationwide.
LUBRICANTS.

COOKING GAS OR LPG.
LPG is the acronym for Liquefied Petroleum Gas and is made up of hydrocarbon gases, comprising mainly of Propane (C3H8) and Butane (C4H10). In its natural state and under ambient temperature and pressure, LPG is in a gaseous form. For ease of storage and transportation, it is liquefied using a compression or refrigeration process. LPG is also colourless and odourless. However, for safety reasons, an odourant is added to LPG for easy detection of any gas leakage.
It is widely used in households for heating appliances such as ovens, stoves and water heaters. It is also used in industries such as iron and steel industry, aerosol propellant industry, glass and ceramic manufacture, copper tubing and cable manufacture. LPG is also an excellent alternative for automotive fuel.
PETRONAS DIESEL.
For Self-Ignition compression diesel engine. PETRONAS Diesel is a high cetane index fuel designed for use in low and high speed self-ignition compression engines to provide efficient, dependable and smooth operation. It has the proper viscosity suitable for critical fuel injection systems to provide maximum protection against wear and leakage. Also suitable for industrial purpose especially for direct burning ie. boiler, furnace, dryer, etc.
Recently Petronas had launcehd a new product which is PETRONAS DYNAMIC DIESEL.It is the diesel that meets the Euro 2-M Diesel Standards.
AVIATION.
PETRONAS JET-A1.
Do you know that Petronas also supplies fuel for jets and airplanes? Yes they do.We as the KDI editors also have the experiences in the process of refuelling the aircraft.A good experiences for us.For your information, aircraft use Kilogrammes in order to measure the fuel quantity.But the bowser that supplies fuels to aircraft use Litres as a measurements method.So, we need to convert the amount of fuels needed by the aircraft ti liters and give it to bowser.Specific Gravity or S.G also play as important role in the conversion process.This is the refuelling process for B737 aircraft.
PETRONAS Jet A-1 is widely used by major international airlines to power their sophisticated aircrafts.It meets the specifications of British MoD DEF STAN 91-91 (DERD 2494), latest issue; ASTM D 1655 (latest issue) and IATA Guidance Material for Aviation Turbine Fuels (latest edition).
PETRONAS Jet A-1 is available at major Malaysian airports in KLIA, Subang, Langkawi, Bayan Lepas, Kerteh, Senai, Kuching, Sibu, Miri, Kota Kinabalu and Sandakan.
