A very slow move by government to reduce car price (turunkan harga kereta malaysia) in Malaysia. The price reduction as if Just to shut the malaysians mouth with only 0.7% up to 11% for 10 selected models only. This does not cover all malaysian made cars like proton and perodua models.
We saw some bad response to this reduction and summarize, the price reduction should be standardized and concentrate on malaysia made models.
The biggest price reductionnis on the peugeot 308 at 11% discount. Followed by cheaper volkswagen golf at 7.1 %, then followed by national car viva, myvi, alza, persona, preve, saga and exora. The honda jazz hybrid also listed with lower price.
Exora is the lowest 0.7% reduction which affect so little on the price tag.
Overall, we see that this is just like a hari raya promotion with that type of offer and discount. But at least they have done something to deliver their promises.
